Ingredients

As a cottage business, it is required that I make ingredients lists available. I do not add nuts unless explicitly requested or noted, but I do use peanuts and tree nuts in my kitchen and many ingredients may have been processed in a facility that processes nuts. 

 

Vanilla cake

Flour, sugar, butter, milk, eggs, canola oil, salt, baking powder and vanilla. 

Vanilla cake variations

Flour, sugar, butter, milk, eggs, canola oil, salt, baking powder and flavorings or additives including extracts, emulsions, fruit, spices or herbs, tea, sprinkles, etc.

Chocolate cake

Flour, sugar, cocoa powder, milk, eggs, canola oil, baking powder, baking soda, salt, vanilla and/or other flavorings as requested.

Devil’s Food chocolate cake

Flour, sugar, cocoa powder, milk, eggs, butter, baking soda, salt, vanilla and/or other flavorings as requested. 

Carrot cake

Flour, white sugar, brown sugar, eggs, canola oil, optional butter, baking powder, baking soda, salt, proprietary spice blend, carrots.

French macarons

Almond flour, sugar, powdered sugar, egg whites, salt, vanilla and/or other flavorings. 

Swiss meringue buttercream 

Sugar, egg whites, powdered sugar, butter, salt, vanilla and/or other flavorings.

Almost Swiss meringue buttercream 

Powdered sugar, egg whites, butter, salt, vanilla and/or other flavorings. 

French buttercream

Sugar, egg yolks, butter, salt, vanilla and/or other flavorings. 

Cream cheese frosting

Cream cheese, butter, salt, vanilla, milk or cream, vanilla. 

Custards and pastry creams

Milk, egg yolks, sugar, butter, vanilla and/or other flavorings. May contain flour or corn starch as thickening agent. 

Chocolate ganache

Milk or cream, chocolate, vanilla and/or other flavorings

Caramel

Sugar, cream, butter

Fruit curd

Fruit juice, egg yolks, sugar, butter, salt, optional fruit zest, optional citric acid.

Jams and jellies

Fruit, sugar, gelatin. Alternative versions may utilize pectin or agar agar. 

Fruit compotes and purees

Fruit, sugar. 

Cake pops

Cake (see above), frosting or ganache (see above), coated with chocolate and/or candy melts. 

Gluten-free options

See recipes above but replace flour with: Whole grain sorghum flour, brown rice flour (rice flour, stabilized rice bran with germ), whole grain millet flour, rice flour and 2% or less of the following: food starch-modified, whole grain quinoa flour, xanthan gum.

Dairy-free and/or vegan options

Dairy-free and vegan options are available and will be custom to individual orders, depending on preferences for ingredient alternatives.
